Pittyvaich 25 Years Special Release 2015 is een zeldzame single malt uit de Speyside-regio, gedistilleerd in 1989 en gebotteld in 2015 als onderdeel van Diageo’s prestigieuze Special Releases. De distilleerderij sloot in 1993, waardoor deze whisky een uniek relikwie is van een verdwenen tijdperk.

Gerijpt in refill Amerikaanse eikenhouten hogsheads en ex-bourbonvaten, onthult deze whisky aroma’s van tropisch fruit, vanille en florale tonen. De smaak is complex en romig, met hints van witte chocolade, kruiden en een subtiele houttoets. Gebotteld op vatsterkte (49,9%) in een oplage van slechts 5.922 flessen van 70 cl.
